Material Handler

Looking for a hands-on opportunity where your work helps keep products moving and operations running smoothly? Kelly® is hiring Material Handlers to support warehouse operations and help prepare products for accurate, on-time shipment.

This is a great opportunity for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy active work and take pride in working safely and efficiently.

Pay Rate: $17.90 per hour (for both shifts)

Schedules Available:

  • Evening Shift: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday | 5:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m.
  • Day Shift: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday | 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

What You'll Do:

  • Move materials, supplies, and finished products manually or with a hand truck.
  • Load finished products onto pallets or hand trucks.
  • Stack skids and pallets in designated storage and staging areas.
  • Safely and accurately load and unload freight.
  • Pick, pack, check, sort, consolidate, wrap, and load customer orders.
  • Apply labels according to company and customer requirements.
  • Complete shipment confirmations and related documentation.
  • Verify freight accuracy and inspect products for damage or infestation.
  • Use RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts.
  • Perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks, including sweeping floors, cleaning office areas, and disposing of trash properly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic experience using RF scanning devices preferred.
  • Ability to follow safety, housekeeping, and sanitation procedures.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on business needs.
  • Ability to work in varying noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperatures.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours per shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 10–50 pounds without restriction.
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, climb, crouch, stretch, and reach at or above shoulder level.
