Job Title : 2nd shift Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled forklift operator to manage tasks such as put-aways, loading, picking, staging, and more. The role requires operating a Crown stand-up forklift (Pacer) and involves labor-intensive activities including case picking products from multiple pallets weighing between 10lbs to 60lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

Operate a Crown stand-up reach forklift to load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials.

Assist with rack teardowns and other ad hoc projects.

Meet medium level physical exertion requirements, including frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.

Learn and operate RF systems within a logistics environment.

Perform basic math and reading tasks to complete job duties and necessary paperwork.

Follow oral and written instructions to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments.

Support operational processes and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with regulations.

Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring accurate stock rotation.

Inspect pallets and cases for correct quantities, item brands, and lot codes.

Communicate any issues, concerns, and ideas to management and suggest process improvements.

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Assist in maintaining warehouse security and conduct operations safely.

Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to guidelines.

Be open to cross-training for case picking when needed.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in operating a Crown stand-up forklift (Reach).

Basic math and reading skills.

Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.

Capability to meet physical exertion requirements.

Communication skills to report problems and suggest improvements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with RF systems in a logistics environment.

Willingness to cross-train for other tasks such as case picking.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50 / hr.
