Your Role :

As a Senior Tax Advisor at H&R Block, you will play a critical role in helping clients make informed decisions regarding their financial situations. Build lasting relationships with clients while addressing their diverse tax needs, supported by a dedicated team and advanced training.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct tax interviews with clients through various communication channels : in-person, video, phone, chat, or email.
• Prepare precise and comprehensive tax returns.
• Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and provide additional services.
• Assist clients in dealing with the IRS.
• Provide support for tax notice services and audit representation based on certification levels.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
• Successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Demonstrate experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax preparation.
• Have a proven track record in preparing individual tax returns.
• Thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Show comfort and proficiency with virtual communication tools.
• Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Range : The pay range for this position is $11.00 - $80.00 per hour, contingent on factors including experience, education, and location. Successful candidates may qualify for various compensation plans.
