Oar Staffing is conducting a search for an

Electrical / Electronic

Firmware Engineer for a MANUFACTURING client in the Akron area.

THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE

Salary Range : $90K - $100K

Brief Details about the Opportunity :

• Understand Electrical Current Theory
• Troubleshoot circuitry related to PCB & circuitry
• Write, test, and debug firmware for embedded systems using C and C++
• Conduct system-level testing to identify and resolve issues related to firmware and hardware interaction
• Design, develop, and maintain low-level software that controls hardware devices
• Knowledge of Microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM, AVR, PIC) and peripheral interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, USB)
• Ability to read electrical schematics and datasheets
• Linux experience is a PLUS
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
