Immediately Hiring a Dedicated Solo Class A CDL Driver in Fort Wayne, IN

Ryder is looking for the right employee to drive with us. Ryder drivers earn $1385 or more weekly and it gets better. Ryder drivers are paid weekly with a weekly guarantee of $1385 per week. Solo miles pay is $0.51 per mile with 2500 miles per week. Solo stops pay is $10.00 per stop with 10-20 stops per week. Drop and hook pay is $6.00 per drop / hook. There is a shutdown bonus that pays $2000 in two installments in your first year. There is also a sign on bonus that pays $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days. There is a safety bonus that pays up to $250 per quarter if applicable. The schedule is Monday Friday or Tuesday - Saturday. The start time must be open to AM or PM due to the bid system.

Deliver SOLO to IN; within 300 mile radius. The route is local home daily. The tractor type is day cab and the trailer type is dry van 53'. The freight is no touch auto parts. Strong backing skills are required. Company paid scale bypass trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 roadside maintenance and company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

Uniforms and boot allowance provided. Paid personal time off starts at day 1 - 80 hours accrued in the first year. Medical, dental, vision start at 30 days. Ryder drivers are the captain of the ship our drivers make decisions to keep yourself and others safe and we protect your job when you do.

Requirements include a minimum of 21 years of age, passing a Ryder drug test, passing a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years, passing a DOT physical, passing a Ryder road test, providing appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position, and having class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines, detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs, loading / unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer, and performing other duties as assigned.
