Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated  Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with 2-4 years of accounting experience who are eager to develop their skills and grow within a professional accounting environment. The Staff Accountant will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting various accounting functions to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Perform general ledger entries and reconciliations

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Assist in bank and account reconciliations

Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Help prepare supporting schedules for audits and tax filings

Assist with budget tracking and variance analysis

Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2-4 years of relevant experience (internships or co-op experience a plus)

Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar a plus)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

Progress toward CPA certification is a plus

Experience with ERP systems or cloud-based accounting tools

• Familiarity with financial statement preparation
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is beneficial
