Aerotek is hiring immediately for a carpenter foreman! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled foreman to join our team at a large industrial facility in the Springfield, Massachusetts area. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to construct, remodel, retrofit, and repair various interior and exterior structures such as wood, metal, drywall, plaster, concrete, or brick. Additionally, the foreman will be responsible for site maintenance tasks including landscaping and snow removal, all under the guidance of the site supervisor. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday and Sunday work, where Sunday work is compensated at double time. The team comprises 3-4 employees, including a supervisor and two laborers, with variations depending on the project. The dress code requires steel-toed boots and long pants, with long sleeves necessary when working in chemical plants. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like hard hats and safety glasses will be provided. Candidates must have their own basic hand tools, including a tool pouch, utility knife, speed square, hammer, tape measure, and pencil.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Chicopee, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
