Warehouse - Inventory Clerk
POSITION SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Inventory Clerk is responsible for conducting cycle count on the warehouse floor.
Verifying inventory accuracy and maintaining schedule to ensure the complete warehouse is cycle counted end to end once per month.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES :
- Conducting a complete cycle count monthly to ensure meeting department goal of completing 12 cycle counts per year.
- Verify inventory of active IML and SS labels is confirmed on Monday and Friday each week.
- Maintaining schedule to ensure complete warehouse cycle is counted end to end once per month.
- Check inventory accuracy via Cognos system daily / weekly.

- Cycle count Molded & Printed location three days (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) per week.
- Utilize hand-held scanner and forklift operation to conduct cycle counts on warehouse floor.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Educational Requirements : High School Diploma, post-secondary education preferred Minimum Experience / Field : Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a Cycle Count capacity.
Licenses / Permits Required : Valid Forklift license, a counterbalance and reach truck. Communication Skills : must have good command of the English language both verbal and written.
Additional Education / Experience / Skills : Previous experience in a lean manufacturing environment and previous experience with 5S, Six sigma and TPS, preferred, Knowledge of HACCP and WHMIS.
