Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Maritime Attorney to provide legal guidance and representation in matters related to maritime law, including shipping regulations, admiralty law, and environmental issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract negotiation and regulatory compliance, ensuring that our clients navigate complex legal waters effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation in maritime law matters.
• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts related to ship operations and maritime transactions.
• Ensure compliance with federal and international shipping regulations.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents and briefs.
• Represent clients in litigation and dispute resolution processes related to maritime issues.
• Advise clients on risk management and marine insurance matters.
• Assist clients with matters related to international trade and transportation law.
• Stay updated on changes in maritime law and regulations.

Qualifications

Salary - $150,000 - $175,000
