Job descriptionCall rotation every 4th or 5th week One full week at a time Expected hospital visits : Weekdays (M–F) for new consults Saturday and / or Sunday for rounding only Primary focus on outpatient care On-call Provider handles new consults at the hospital Nurse Practitioners round on existing patients New consults are assigned to the on-call provider once evaluated 70% Oncology 30% Hematology (primarily benign cases) IN state license; active, unrestricted Board certified Certifications- BLS or ACLS 2 years of experience Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered. About The Position
Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Hematology / Oncology provider to work locum shifts in Lafayette Indiana (IN). Starting January, 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
HEM / ONC Role :
OUTPATIENT CLINIC SCHEDULE :
- Monday to Friday
- 36 hours of patient care / ambulatory clinic coverage per week
- Flexible scheduling available between 8 : 00 AM and 5 : 30 PM
