We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Santa Ana, California. This is a long-term contract position, offering a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic organization and contribute to key accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory accounting, reconciliation processes, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities :

• Perform detailed inventory account reconciliations, including adjustments, reclassifications, and thorough research to resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to investigate and address accounting issues effectively.
• Prepare and post approximately 25-30 journal entries and manage 12 account reconciliations monthly.
• Utilize Blackline software for posting entries and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Conduct reserve calculations and ensure accuracy in inventory accounting.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in automated Excel processes, working with team members to optimize formulas and formatting.
• Apply expertise in inventory reserves, warehouse transfers, and logistics entries to support monthly accounting tasks.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of general ledger operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Leverage experience in large-scale organizations to manage complex accounting functions efficiently.
• Extensive experience in month-end close processes and inventory accounting.
• Proficiency in general ledger management and journal entry preparation.
• Advanced skills in account reconciliation and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with BlackLine software for balance sheet reconciliations and entry postings.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including the ability to identify and resolve issues in automated processes.
• Knowledge of inventory reserves and warehouse transfer accounting.
• Proven track record of working in large organizations and handling complex accounting tasks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
