Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) We are seeking an experienced ICU RN to join our Critical Care team in a high acuity, fast paced environment. The ICU RN provides continuous monitoring, complex interventions, and life sustaining care for critically ill patients. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments and manage critically ill patients with multiple comorbidities Monitor hemodynamics, ventilators, and invasive lines; titrate drips per protocol Administer medications, blood products, and advanced therapies as ordered Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in condition, initiating emergency interventions as needed Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care Support patients and families with education and end of life or complex care discussions Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR Requirements Active RN license (state specific or compact) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience in the same specialty BLS required; ACLS required Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and advanced cardiac monitoring skills Comfortable with ventilated patients, vasoactive drips, and rapid response situations Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
