Software Engineer

A company is looking for a Software Engineer III to join their Essentials Platform team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain backend services and shared libraries primarily in Java and Node.js

Contribute to the evolution of a microservices-based platform with a focus on scalability and operational excellence

Own services end-to-end, including development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

5+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong experience in either Java or Node.js, with the ability to ramp up quickly in the other

Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts

Experience building and running applications in the cloud, preferably AWS
