Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant :

• Record financial transactions with precision including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Compare financial records of transactions with bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Record adjusting entries, accruals, and other transactions to ensure that financial statements reflect accurate results.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and explanations of financial transactions.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations, such as GAAP.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both electronic and paper-based.
• Assist in other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications of the Junior Accountant :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• CPA license or desire to pursue certification strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar analytical tools.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn.

Salary :

$50,000-$55,000 per year
