Position Purpose :
To provide oversight and support through biblical values in all areas of finance for Stonegate Fellowship. This position is under the direction of the Finance Director.
Role Basics | Responsibilities and Expectations :
Deposit all monies and record transactions
Compile invoices, checking for accurate coding and approvals
Write checks at directions of Finance Director and process vouchers
Initiate journal entries
Initiate payroll liability payments
Input payroll information
Review payroll entries for accuracy
Participate in evaluating financial systems and processes
Minimum Work and Education :
High School Diploma or GED
Some college preferred
5+ years experience in accounting-a strong understanding of non-profit accounting is a plus
Skills :
Strong computer skills in various software packages, primarily Quickbooks and other accounting programs
Proficiency in Excel
Knowledge of accounting and payroll procedures and requirements
Organizational and documentation skills with keen attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Exceptional math skills

Time Requirement :
This is a full time, non-exempt role with 40+ hours per week. Monday through Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
