Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the dynamic team at a premier academic medical center. Qualifications

~ Education : Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

~ Licensure : Current New York State LPN license & CPR certification required

~ Experience :

~ Minimum of 1 year in an Emergency Department (hospital or trauma setting) required

~ Prior inpatient setting experience preferred

~ Technical Skills : Proficiency in IV placement and phlebotomy required

~ Soft Skills : Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities; ability to thrive in high-pressure environments

Key Responsibilities

~ Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician

~ Administer medications and perform IV therapy & phlebotomy

~ Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status

~ Document care accurately in the EMR

~ Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized treatment plans
