Who you are :
One year of experience in hospitality or institutional housekeeping, in the janitorial field, is preferredAbility to speak and understand EnglishBi-lingual is a plusMust be able to work independently and without direct supervisionJob Summary :
The Janitor is responsible for performing special cleaning tasks, set-up services, and regularly scheduled housekeeping duties within the facility.
Essential Job Duties :
Performs a variety of support services in preparation for special activities, which may include setting up tables and chairs, podiums, special decorations, or other special equipment that must be properly moved and storedMaintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly, and sanitary condition. Must be able to identify and report the need for repairs, and unsafe conditions and respond appropriately in emergenciesUses cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructionsPerforms special tasks which may be chargeable to the resident upon instruction of the SupervisorCleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basisCommunicates with residents, visitors, and staffAttends in-service training classes as scheduled and utilizes information learned when performing dutiesUses carpet cleaning equipment and performs carpet care as instructedAssists with resident move-ins which will include lifting and moving furniture, packed boxes, and other movable itemsConducts routine inspections of own area of assignment to ensure that departmental quality standards are achieved and maintainedWhen you enter a community managed by Life Care Services, you'll immediately feel the warmth of our Hospitality Promises :
