A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DOG CARE TECHNICIAN

As an entry-level Dog Care Technician, you help us take care of each pet that comes into our office. Without you, we can't provide the excellent service that we promise.

You clean, supervise group play, feed dogs, and give medications if needed. Sometimes, you even perform basic grooming such as nail trims, baths, and de-shedding treatments.

Your knowledge and dog handling skills come into play when keeping dogs calm, watching for stress signs, and analyzing other behaviors.

You look forward to coming to work every day! Because you get to see our adorable guests, give belly rubs, get face licks, and play!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DOG CARE TECHNICIAN

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Some colleges preferred
• Ability to work some holidays and weekends
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and be on your feet for a minimum of 5 hours
• Ability to learn and independently operate various tools, equipment, and technology
• Love for all dogs and the smells, sounds, and silly behavior that comes with them

WORK SCHEDULE

This pet care position is flexible and can be either full- or part-time . You would typically work Monday through Sunday with day, evening, and night shifts available!
