Position Introduction / Key Duties

Cimarron is seeking a senior-level Civil Engineer to support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the Sentinel (formerly GBSD) program. Cimarron provides engineering and technical support to Bechtel for the design, construction, and integration of the Sentinel launch systems at locations to include Vandenberg AFB, CA, F.E. Warren AFB, WY, Malmstrom AFB, MT, and Minot AFB, ND. Sentinel is a vital US Air Force program that will recapitalize the nation's aging ground-based leg of the nuclear triad - the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). This is an on-site position that offers a 9X80 work schedule (i.e., every other Friday off), paid overtime, and an outstanding work / life balance. For candidates not local to the Ogden area, a relocation allowance can be provided.

Key Duties :

• Development of grading, backfill design, and drawings.
• Road design and design documents.
• Foundation design and drawings.
• Assist with boring oversight, site inspection, and review of existing facilities.
• Perform formal calculations and drawings.
• Review vendor information from subcontractors and integrate it into the design solution.
• Execute to schedule requirements while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product.
• Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team.
