Job descriptionAssociates degree or higher in the field of computers, CAD, or drafting. Will consider years of experience in lieu of a degree 3–5-years’ experience in corrugated packaging preferred Knowledge of Artios CAD, Kongsberg table, or similar tools. Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office programs. Strong written and oral communication. Organization and attention to detail. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Time management. Systems analysis. Mathematical and deductive reasoning. Critical thinking. Active learning. Sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials during the workday. May include lifting to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion. Primary environment : ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. May occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas were under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and mandatory hearing protection.
Job Description
SUMMARY
Responsible for creating structural box samples to assist Sales Representatives in sales promotions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Discuss design projects with Sales Representatives and be able to select the appropriate designs needed and draw designs.
- Make samples on CAD table or cut samples by hand.
- Record keeping and filing of specifications.
- Meet time schedules on projects with possible overtime involved.
- Make production specifications from prototype.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Additional duties may be assigned by management.
- Duties may vary depending on location
