Quality Control Manager
As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing project site quality control. This includes using discretion to assess and control risks, performing tests and analyzing results, planning and developing processes to maintain quality standards, and initiating improvement measures related to quality control findings.
Responsibilities
Essential Skills
Experience with OSHA regulations, construction, and safety management. Knowledge of USACE, submittals, and federal construction. Proficiency in RFI, RMS, and Procore.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least 5 years of recent installation or federal construction experience. Experience in federal building construction. CQCM / QCM certification. RMS experience. OSHA 30 certification obtained within the last 5 years.
Work Environment
The project is strict with a 40-hour work week. The position involves work related to the Army reserves in Des Moines and an AMES USDA project, which is a large ground-up addition to an existing facility. This role requires adherence to federal guidelines and involves collaboration with various stakeholders on-site.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $62.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
