GBS is seeking a Technical Writer III to develop and maintain technical documentation for systems, applications, and operational processes :

Job Functions

• Creates, updates, and maintains system documentation, including system designs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and training materials.
• Works closely with developers, analysts, and system administrators to ensure documentation accurately reflects system functionality.
• Organizes and manages documentation libraries and repositories to ensure accessibility and version control.
• Uses document management tools such as SharePoint to manage and publish documentation.
• Ensures documentation meets DOI, IBC, and HRMSD standards, including Section 508 accessibility requirements. Reviews and edits documentation for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
• Provides templates, style guides, and document standards to ensure consistency across technical publications.
• Supports audits and reviews by ensuring documentation is up to date and complete.
