Material Handler I - Inventory Control

Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of office product solutions, has an opportunity available for a Material Handler I to join our Distribution Center located in Horn Lake, MS facility. Responsibilities include maintaining and moving materials within the division, plant, or warehouse. Load and safely unload freight. Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, handheld scanners, and computer terminals. Verify incoming material against accompanying documents to determine completeness and accuracy. Maintain inventory records in the computer system. Assemble, pack or pick materials, and kit materials. Perform counting activities for physical inventory, cycle count, shipping or receiving accuracy. Ensure proper stock rotation. Move or remove materials to / from the appropriate storage area. Maintain clean, neat and orderly work areas, adhere to all safety rules and follow all established security procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications : High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Experience in the material handling function. Demonstrated ability to speak, read and write English. Proven ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs. Working knowledge of computerized warehouse systems. Clamp experience is desired. Must have at least 3-6 months forklift operations preferred.
