CNC Lathe Machinist

Summary

We’re looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Setup Machinist to join our precision, family-owned shop in Manchester, CT. This is a full-time position offering a 4-day workweek, air-conditioned / heated shop, and strong benefits. If you have Haas / Fanuc experience, can interpret GD&T prints, and enjoy hands-on setup and operation, this could be the right fit.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate Haas CNC lathes to produce precision parts from blueprints.
• Read and interpret GD&T drawings; inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools.
• Follow ISO9001 / AS9100D quality standards for documentation and inspection.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with the team to improve efficiency.
• Maintain tooling, workholding, and machine cleanliness.
