Director of Accounting Integration
Hybrid Role - open to remote - Tampa, Florida
Our client is seeking a Director of Accounting Integration. This is a specialized position, and the ideal candidate would have experience NetSuite Implementation experience as well as experience working with a PEO company.
The Director of Accounting Integration's primary responsibility is to ensure acquisitions and subsidiaries' banking, accounting, and financial reporting are fully integrated with Corporate Finance operations, including money movement, mapping to NetSuite, reporting, and creating seamless SOPs for monetary intercompany functionality.
This position will also train acquired companies to report financial specifications on a monthly basis and oversee the transfer of control of banking and investment accounts from the acquired companies.

Overview of the Director of Accounting Integration :
- Utilize NetSuite's framework to seamlessly integrate all cash functions of the acquired company.
- Explore integration opportunities between the acquired company and identify areas like accounts payable, 401k, banking, etc.
for potential corporate-level processes.
- Enhance intercompany functionality within NetSuite.
- Support the acquired company in financial reporting, including gross margin reporting, departmental classification, month-end revenue accrual, and preparation of final monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement), as well as facilitating banking access and signing.
- Collaborate with the VP of Accounting and RSM consulting for acquisition accounting.
- Collaborate on valuation work with a Valuation Firm.
- Monitor holdbacks and escrow balances for acquired companies.
- Perform other relevant accounting functions, such as trust accounting, WC / AIG accounting, and handling monthly miscellaneous cash receipts.
- Collaborate with management and departmental employees to develop, implement, operate, and maintain controls for the integration process of each acquired company.
- Draft and implement policies and best practices to support objectives and required standards.
- Facilitate the implementation of new systems and significant modifications to existing systems to minimize downtime.
Preferred Qualifications for the Director of Accounting Integration :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (+)
- 7+ years of experience in the financial function of a company required
- Proficient with NetSuite is required.
- Professional Employer Organization PEO experience (+)
- PRISM experience (+)
