OnSpot Dermatology – Front Desk Medical Receptionist (Fort Myers Office)

OnSpot Dermatology is looking for a Full-Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Fort Myers office. While OnSpot is known for bringing state-of-the-art dermatology care directly to patients in our 40-foot mobile medical units, this role is based in our office location, where you will play a vital part in welcoming and assisting patients in person and by phone.

We are seeking a positive, detail-oriented, and patient-focused team member who enjoys working with people and ensuring each patient has a smooth, professional experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients with a warm, professional attitude as they arrive at the Fort Myers office

Check patients in and out of appointments

Collect and accurately enter patient demographic and insurance information

Process payments, including co-pays, self-pay, and product purchases

Manage patient flow and keep patients informed of any scheduling updates or delays

Answer incoming calls and return voicemails promptly

Provide accurate information about OnSpot’s services and schedule / reschedule appointments

Support the clinical team by maintaining efficient and organized front desk operations

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting (dermatology experience strongly preferred)

Previous front desk and patient scheduling experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

Proficiency with computers and medical software systems

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Professional, friendly, and outgoing personality with a strong phone presence

Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
