Job descriptionResearch and resolve claim denials by reviewing correspondence and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs). Contact insurance carriers to determine next steps to secure claim payment. Manage self-pay billing, client statements, and accounts receivable to improve collection outcomes. Process and electronically batch self-pay client statements for vendor upload. Provide backup and support to Contract Billing functions. Experience : Minimum of two years in healthcare required; reimbursement experience preferred. Education : High school diploma or GED required. Background : Candidates must successfully complete a background check prior to employment. Universal Health Corporation (“UHealth”) is seeking a Billing Specialist / Self-Pay Specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll help verifying eligibility, ensure timely and accurate billing processes and follow-up that lead to efficient reimbursement for services provided to Medicare, Medicaid, MCOs, commercial insurance, HMOs, and other third-party payors.
Schedule & Pay :
- Hours : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 a.m.–5 : 00 p.m.
- Starting Pay Rate : $20 / hour
