Financial Analyst Global Product Companies

If you are a finance professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Shakopee, Minnesota location, as a Financial Analyst Global Product Companies, you will be part of a team working in conjunction with Global Product Management, Engineering, and World Area contacts to measure and analyze product company financial performance. You will also work closely with the business unit Global Finance team to inform overall financial direction.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

• Review and analyze monthly financial results for the Measurement & Analytical product companies, including worldwide Orders, Sales and Gross Profit
• Partner with IT and business systems analysts to create real-time analytical tools and standardized reports providing business leadership key metrics and insight to growth trends and profitability
• Support Global Finance Director in preparation for Board Meetings, Growth Planning Conferences, and Profit Planning
• Perform financial evaluations for new product development, production transfers, and technology acquisition
• Coordinate profit planning process for product companies by identifying and prioritizing opportunities for product cost reductions, cost of quality and operational cost improvements, production transfers, job moves and make versus buy decision making
• Collaborate with Global Product Management and the Strategic Planning organization to identify product growth programs and quantify the financial benefits
• Review economic evaluation of capital expenditures
• Analyze intercompany pricing and impacts of price changes
• Participate in identified projects and process improvement initiatives

Our compensation philosophy is simple : we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $72,000-$110,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
