Senior Financial Analyst
The salary range for this position is at $66,548 - $88,730. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of other benefits and earned time off that vary depending on part-time or full-time status. In-Person Attendance Requirement : This position requires the ability to attend in-person meetings on a regular basis - including weekly, monthly, and frequently on short notice. Candidates must be located within reasonable commuting distance and able to adjust their schedule as needed to support in-person collaboration.
Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with business leaders to drive strategic decision-making by delivering actionable insights through financial, business, and data analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The incumbent reviews financial statements for accuracy, performs variance analysis, specialized accounting work, compilation of financial reports and dashboards. The incumbent represents the finance department when working with branch, product, and program management.

Relationships
This position reports to the Finance Manager who reports to the AVP of Financial Planning and Analysis. The incumbent interacts regularly with Branch Executives, Program Directors, and other Association staff.
Qualifications
Required : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting. In-depth understanding of accounting principles, methods and applications, and general knowledge of budget management, development, and financial analysis. Proven reasoning, analytical, problem solving and consultative skills with an ability to deliver difficult messages. Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to make recommendations and decisions. High degree of competence, initiative, and the ability to make independent decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills along with an attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive working relationships at all levels. Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of and demonstrated technical skills working with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred : CPA Certification and / or MBA degree. Expert Excel skills. Experience working in non-profit accounting. Experience with Microsoft Great Plains, Planful, Traction Rec, and Salesforce software.
Work Conditions
Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time. Travel to branch and camp locations for meetings.
