Position Summary :

Our client is seeking an experienced Loan Operations Specialist with in-depth expertise in commercial lending, including commercial real estate (CRE) and commercial and industrial (C&I) loans. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of loan due diligence, documentation, collateral management, and the full lifecycle of commercial loan processingfrom origination through closing and booking. This role requires a detailed understanding of the flow of funds in complex commercial transactions and hands-on proficiency with LaserPro for loan document preparation.

Essential Duties :

Review, prepare, and process documentation for CRE and C&I loans, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.

Perform due diligence on borrower and collateral information, including review of entity documents, insurance, UCC filings, and title work.

Utilize LaserPro to generate loan documents in accordance with credit approvals and bank policies.

Coordinate and facilitate loan closings, ensuring all required documents are executed and conditions precedent are satisfied.

Support post-closing review and funding processes, including disbursement, booking, and collateral perfection.

Verify and track collateral, ensuring accurate lien positions and documentation in the bank's system of record.

Partner cross-functionally with loan officers, credit analysts, legal, and treasury teams to ensure smooth and compliant loan onboarding.

Identify process gaps and recommend workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.

Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in Commercial Loan Operations, preferably within a bank or financial institution.

Strong knowledge of CRE and C&I lending, loan structures, collateral requirements, and lending regulations.

Proven experience with LaserPro loan documentation software.

Thorough understanding of loan funding flow and accounting entries related to commercial lending.

Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Job-Specific Competencies :

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with commercial loan servicing systems is a plus.

Travel Requirements :

No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range :

SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $40 45.
