The Legal Entity Controller ("LEC") for Apollo Global Management ("AGM") will be responsible for entity and department level accounting, including but not limited to strategic investments, journal entries, and monthly analytics to ensure accurate revenue, expense, balance sheet, and regulatory and statutory reporting for the management companies / advisory entities within AGM. This role will also support the LEC team on all reporting around Apollo Capital Solutions ("ACS"), including assisting with the organization and recognition of transactions on behalf of the Firm and its subsidiaries.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure proper accounting treatment is applied to all management companies / advisory entity transactions and balances, including management fees, carried interest, equity method investments and other related transactions.
• Coordinate with Deal Professionals, Accounting Policy, Senior Management, and other teams across Apollo on strategic investments to ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting.
• Manage and administer a controlled and fluid iLevel reporting platform with strategic partners.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly ACS transaction fee and revenue share preparation and reporting; Manage and coordinate on the GAAP and Non-GAAP reporting requirements related to ACS revenue recognition and organization.
• Continue to advance and improve workflows surrounding monthly and quarterly close process with a focus on automating and streamlining processes.
• Lead the quarterly pending deal process ensuring appropriate allocations across Apollo funds.
• Assist with quarterly internal and external reporting, which includes earnings release, 10-Q / K and related disclosures, as well as Marketing and Investor Relations materials.
• Continue to advance and improve workflow surrounding GAAP to Non-GAAP reconciliation and FRE exclusion with a focus on automating and streamlining processes.
• Facilitate the communication and decision makings with Finance Compensation, and Strategic Incentive team on Strategic Investing related Compensation and Expenses across the AGM platforms to ensure complete and accurate recording, documentation, and financial statement disclosure.
• Coordinate with Tax, Strategic Incentive, and Accounts Payable Team on tax related accounting and disclosure requirements on strategic investments.
• Maintain a strong SOX controls environment and ensure proper documentation of our SOX control processes.
• Coordinate with Corporate & Finance Tech team on the development and maintenance of FFHO Fund cube and other Strategic Tech initiatives.
• Review detailed Balance Sheet and Income Statement variance and fluctuation analysis in connection with monthly, quarterly, and annual internal reporting presentations.
• Review filings and direct audit of statutory Financial Statements.
• Review ad hoc analysis and special projects prepared by the team for requests from Senior Management.
