Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as needed, and helping to maintain an orderly environment. Support loss prevention efforts by remaining alert to potential theft or suspicious behavior within the retail environment. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance and information as needed. Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly following incidents or patrols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Unarmed Security Professional - Retail Patrol
As an Unarmed Security Professional in Happy Valley, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a retail environment. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle while monitoring the assigned location. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
