About The Position

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Sterile Processing Tech for a Day Shift (6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM) position. The technician will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment following hospital standards. The role requires proficiency in aseptic techniques, use of sterilization equipment, and proper documentation. Local candidates within 60 miles are preferred.

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Shift : Day, 5x8 hours (6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM)

Certification : IAHCSMM / HSPA required

Minimum experience in an acute hospital OR setting

Strong knowledge of decontamination, sterilization, labeling, and wrapping procedures

Experience with case carts, loaner trays, endoscope reprocessing, and various surgical specialties (Ortho, Neuro, Urology, etc.)

Preferred : Familiarity with SPM system and specialty areas (ENT, OB / GYN, Plastics, Vascular, Trauma)

Scrubs provided
