Job description
Certified Nursing Aide St. Anne Home is a ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America dedicated to the continued healing mission of Jesus Christ by providing a continuum of care and supportive services to adults, their families and their caregivers. We do this by following our five core values: Respect for Human Dignity, Compassion, Transformation, Solidarity with People in Need, and Justice and Peace. *Must have valid and current Certification for the CNA position* Starting rates are based on experience ranging from $20- $24. $3,000 Sign-on Bonus for Full-time 2nd shift CNA’s! *Sign-on bonuses are subject to certain requirements and signed documentation. Available: Full time 8-hour hour shifts. Check out the shift differentials! Only hiring for 2nd shift-

What you’ll do:
  • *Participates in collection of assessment data to develop a plan of care
  • Follows the established plan of care and associated procedures and policies
  • Provide grooming/hygiene for residents as required
  • Demonstrates skills and knowledge to provide safe, competent nurse aide care
  • Serve residents’ trays according to prescribed diets and collect when finished
  • Feed residents/assist with meal consumption
  • Assist residents in walking and/or wheelchair mobility
  • Perform temperature, respiration and blood pressure, record results and report results to nurse
  • Report any unusual conditions or reaction to the unit supervisor
  • Collect soiled linens/clothing, transport linen/clothing to laundry and distribute clean linen/clothing
  • Accompany and assist residents to the hospital, physician office and other appointments as necessary
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Plan of Care Team meetings
  • Participate in committees/projects, continuing education programs, training sessions and meetings
  • Documentation of care given for each resident
  • Maintain resident rooms, nursing units, kitchenettes in neat, clean order
  • Assist residents with dressing as required
  • Charges equipment, supplies and services correctly
  • Participates in performance improvement activities
  • Responds appropriately to emergency situations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred, or 1-year experience as a Nursing Assistant
  • Criminal background check current within one year (and all other clearances)
  • Must have valid and current Certification for the CNA position
*Casual employee: You tell us your availability. Not eligible for benefits.
Required to work 2 weekend shifts per month AND 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday.
*Part time employee: Must work what facility needs. Eligible for benefits.
