Job descriptionUse our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel and / or resort location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a welcoming environment. Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required by site procedures. Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including guiding guests and staff during incidents. Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and emergency personnel as needed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience in loss prevention is preferred. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Professional DTLA Resort Patrol
As a Security Professional DTLA Resort Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together with integrity to deliver a caring experience for everyone at the location.
