As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the campus, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will interact with the campus community, provide customer service, and use technology to document activities. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions or information, maintaining a helpful presence at the location.

Support access control procedures by monitoring entry points and verifying identification as required.

Collaborate with Allied Universal management and location representatives to address security-related needs and expectations.

Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and / or irregularities encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
