The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the company’s quality standards. This leader will manage project teams, maintain strong client relationships, and drive successful execution across multiple active job sites.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead full project lifecycle from preconstruction, budgeting, and scheduling through turnover and closeout
- Manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously (ground-up, TI, renovations, sitework, etc.)
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, buyout, and cost controls
- Oversee subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management
- Collaborate closely with superintendents to ensure jobsite safety, quality, and productivity
- Conduct regular OAC, subcontractor, and internal team meetings
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
- Drive change order management, RFIs, submittals, and documentation processes
- Forecast project cash flow, labor needs, and resource planning
- Mentor and support project engineers, APMs, and upcoming project managers
- Ensure projects meet company standards and exceed client expectations
Qualifications :
7–12+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior PM in commercial constructionProven track record managing ground-up and / or large-scale renovation projects ($10M–$100M+)Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, buyout, and construction best practicesExperience working with owners, architects, and engineering teamsProficient in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar platformsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
