We are looking for a full time Interior Designer that has experience in both furnishings and interior architecture and can deliver high quality and appropriate service and products to our discriminating clientele.
Job Responsibilities Include :
Responsibility for project management on residential interior design projects
Oversee a number of projects at once
Scheduling, meeting deadlines and monitoring time budgets on your own projects
Prepare FF&E and time budgets for small to medium projects and to assist Principal with budgets for larger projects
Accurately produce and redline drawings and FF&E schedules and specifications in compliance with firm standards and building codes for residential interiors
Select, specify and purchase furnishings
Job Requirements Job Requirements :
Interior Design degree
Minimum of 5 years of interior design experience, 3 of which is high-end residential or commercial
High level of proficiency in AutoCAD (minimum 3 years work experience), including floor plans, electrical plans, interior elevations and furniture plans.
Proficiency in StudioDesigner and Sketch-Up are a plus
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs, especially Illustrator
Understands purchasing process - can select, order, and track furnishings
Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, specifically with clients and contractors
Knowledge of furniture sources
Strong attention to detail
Familiar with Industry drawing standards
Physical Requirements :
Ability to conduct activities involving moderate standing, walking, and substantial sitting
Ability to lift boxes or items up to 40 pounds
Ability to hear and respond to phone calls and conversations
Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance
