Job Description

The Advisor will work closely with team members to learn and advise on all aspects of the Family CFO business. We seek someone with a CFP who is ready to shift their career to a career path they can control.

This Advisor will work with team members to give the appropriate advice for clients on issues ranging from investment strategies, retirement planning, education savings, tax strategies, estate planning, insurance strategies, and more.

Our Advisors are expected to participate and lead client meetings, as well as work with clients and prospects in prospecting and fact finding through financial action plans and annual reviews.

In all client interactions our Advisors need to focus on the 'Why' and 'How' for Moneta.

Essential Responsibilities

• Work closely with the team to learn all aspects of Family CFO business
• Participate in client meetings including first interviews, confidential fact-finding, financial action plans, implementation meetings, and reviews
• Prepare and / or review financial action plans put together by team members
• Identify and incorporate value-added analysis
• Facilitate services for clients including investment management, retirement planning, education planning, tax and accounting services, insurance planning, banking and cash management, business planning, estate planning, and philanthropic strategies
• Commit to ongoing education to remain an authority in family CFO matters

Qualifications

• CFP, CFA, (minimum of one required to be registered)
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 3-5 years working as a client service advisor
• CPA / PFS with tax expertise, or JD with estate planning experience preferred
• Familiarity with general investment offerings and portfolio strategies
• Experience working in a team environment
• A Series 65 may be required within 60 days of hire
