POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Division Support Coordinator to join our team in the Teacher Recruitment, Retention, and Support office.

Your primary responsibility will be providing crucial support to our mission of attracting and retaining talented educators in Oklahoma.

By assisting in the creation of valuable experiences for aspiring teachers and recognizing the exceptional contributions of educators, you will play a vital role in making a difference in the education community.

Please note : this role does not allow for any form of remote work, including telecommuting or hybrid arrangements. The nature of this position necessitates a consistent in-person presence.

Prospective candidates should be aware that the responsibilities associated with this role require physical presence at the designated workplace in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or closely related field official transcripts required upon hire ;

4 years of experience in administrative support, project coordination, or similar role.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship;
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check;

Must possess a valid driver’s license from a U.S. state or territory to perform necessary job-related travel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Knowledge & Expertise : Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency in data management and report generation using software applications.

Administrative Support : Provide comprehensive administrative support to the division's leadership team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.

Data Management : Assist in the collection, organization, and maintenance of data related to teacher recruitment and retention initiatives.

Ensure data accuracy and produce regular reports to inform decision-making.

Project Coordination : Coordinate and support various projects and initiatives aimed at recruiting and retaining high-quality teachers.

Collaborate with teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. Assist in organizing teacher recruitment events, job fairs, and professional development sessions to attract and support educators.

Manage logistics, registrations, and promotional efforts.

Professional Development : Support the planning and delivery of professional development opportunities for educators to enhance their skills and promote career growth.

Resource Development : Help create and disseminate resources and materials to support teacher recruitment and retention efforts.

Collaborate with content experts to ensure resources are accurate and relevant.

Collaborative Partnerships : Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external partners, fostering collaborative efforts to advance teacher recruitment and retention goals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Location : Oliver Hodge Building, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Work is typically performed in a climate-controlled office setting with exposure to moderate noise. While performing the duties of the job, employee is frequently required to talk, stand, walk.

  • This position requires long periods of sitting and daily use of computer and phone. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time;
  • Ability to stand, reach and bend 50% of the time;
  • Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine / printer, office telephone 75% of the time;
  • Ascends / descends stairs 25% of the time;
  • Communicate with others accurately and effectively 100%;

Ability to lift to 25 lbs.

TRAVEL

Occasional (up to 10%) in-state / out-of-state travel may be required.
