Job Description
The Department of Accounting, Finance, Economics is seeking multiple part-time adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses in accounting, finance, computerized business analytics and business statistical methods for Fall and Spring . Most courses are taught in person with a few courses taught online either synchronously or asynchronously.
Salary: $3, per credit hour
Required Education and Experience:
An earned Master's degree or higher in the field or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
At least 18 graduate hours in accounting, finance, business analytics, business statistics or a closely related field.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Working towards or has earned a Ph.D. in accounting, finance, business analytics, or business statistics or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting.
Industry experience in the field to be taught is highly desirable.
Lecture and computer-based laboratory teaching experience or related industry experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Interest in active and collaborative learning, and the instructional use of technology.
Experience with non-traditional commuter university setting.
Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff
Ability to respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff.
