Day Program DSP - Assistant Program Manager -Part Time

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping them achieve their highest level of independence, earn a paycheck, build life skills, grow relationships with peers, and engage with the community. Assistant Program Managers in our Day Program department lead engaging activities and supervise community outings in addition to documenting individual's progress towards their specific social and employment goals.

This is a part time up to 28 hours a week position.

Pay range for this position is $15.50-$18.00 hourly.

We also provide an opportunity to become certified with the National Association of Direct Support Professionals. If you complete all three steps of the certification process, you will be given a $3,900 bonus!

Responsibilities :

• Follow and uphold company policies and procedures
• Responsible for completing and staying current in all mandatory trainings
• Promote positive social interactions
• Support individuals in the community, in their job, or at their job (enclaves or facility based)
• Teach skills to expand a person's independence and progress toward goals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, follows all safety protocols
• Administer medications, support individuals with hygiene, and provide supervision in all settings
• Maintain a positive relationship and adequate communication with each client's home provide, CSM, parents, guardians, and other support
• Provide transportation with a company vehicle for work or community access
• Complete quality control, track client work totals, plan work schedules
• Maintains an advocacy role
• May be assigned to work in other departments or programs
• Any other duties assigned
