Hatchery Supervisor

Summary : Hatchery Supervisor at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Farm team supporting efforts to ensure fish health, mortality, and excellent execution of all operations. This position involves overseeing the Tech team, all operations of the hatchery, and supporting the Hatchery Manager and is ideal for someone with aquaculture expertise, strong leadership skills, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor all operations including feeding, environmental conditions, and fish behavior.
Oversee Hatchery Technician I / II employee(s) and / or fish hatchery workers, leading the team with assigned projects or tasks.
Enforce health and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with all local, state, and Federal safety and environmental laws.
Learn and understand all operations of the site, troubleshooting and problem-solving quickly when necessary.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood : Required : Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Aquaculture or 3 or more years' experience in finfish Aquaculture. Preferred : 2 years' experience in trout early rearing, leadership experience, CDL or willing to get CDL.
Pay Range : $24.62 - $31.52 per hour. Total Compensation : At Pacific Seafood, your base wage is only a portion of your overall compensation package.
