About the Team

The RL infra team builds an internal RL framework to enable large scale reasoning training to build next state of art flagship models. You will be an expert in numerics / low-precision training and inference to enable efficient and stable RL training.

Focus

• Develop low-precision solutions, from kernel to algorithm, to enhance efficiency in RL training and inference of flagship models.
• Analyze numerical properties of flagship models and their training dynamics, and develop tools to enhance and monitor numerical stability.
• Co-design models, systems, and recipes for numerically stable and optimal training and inference.

Interview Process

After submitting your application, the team reviews your CV and statement of exceptional work. If your application passes this stage, you will be invited to a 15 minute interview ("phone interview") during which a member of our team will ask some basic questions. If you clear the initial phone interview, you will enter the main process, which consists of four technical interviews :

Our goal is to finish the main process within one week. All interviews will be conducted via Google Meet.

Annual Salary Range

$180,000 - $440,000 USD
