G.W. Becker is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to specify and source electrical components and systems for overhead traveling cranes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with automation, motors, brakes, wiring, and other related electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and specify electrical components and systems for overhead cranes
- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and bills of material
- Perform calculations and generate layouts to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide technical customer service
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to meet project milestones
