Des Moines Public Schools is seeking School Psychologists for the 2024-2025 school year.
Job Summary:
School psychologists emphasize a problem-solving approach to provide direct and indirect services to resolve identified student concerns. They function as part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide expertise of child development, the psychology of learning, progress monitoring, and program evaluation.

Successful candidates for this position will possess:
Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology from a NASP approved program or NCSP certification
BOEE Certification:B21 School Psychologist or Intern Psychologist
Iowa Department of Public Health Licensure (Psychologist)
Highly Qualified Candidates for this position will possess:
Experience in an urban school district.
Position Details:
Contract days vary by assignment
7.75 hours
