Performs technical, mainly pre-defined tasks for accomplishing defined service delivery work for customer equipment.
Service Area : Orlando, FL
Shift : M-F, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (after onboarding / training)
Responsibilities
- Service diagnostic lab equipment in the Orlando, FL area.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare instrumentation at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance and superior customer satisfaction.
- Manage financial performance within the territory, meeting or exceeding revenue, expense, and inventory management targets.
- Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, performing necessary administrative duties accurately.Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.Strong customer service and communication skills.Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment.Required Skills
Minimum high school diploma, technical degree, or equivalent experience.1-2+ years of field service experience desired.Proficiency with tools and service test equipment and ability to work both individually and in a team.Proficiency in network applications and tools (including eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).3+ years experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record.Physical requirements : lift 50 lbs, walk, ladder / stepstool climbing, bend, twist, sit, squat, stand, high-reach, fine grasp, good vision, and ability to work alone.Base Pay Range
Min $58,240 – Max $87,360 (geography and experience may affect starting pay).
