What You Will Be Doing

Tasks include : traffic volume and level of service calculations, operation analysis, traffic impact analysis, traffic and engineering studies, report writing, and preparation of report tables and graphics, signing and pavement marking plans, signal and lighting plans, FMS / ITS plans as well as quantity take-offs and cost estimates.

Required Qualifications

Must possess a BS degree in Civil Engineering Must have at least 0 - 2 years of relevant traffic engineering experience Experience in the preparation of construction sequencing, roadway paving, and traffic control plans is a plus, but not required. Must be able to obtain an Engineer Intern (EI) certification Proficiency using SYNCHRO, HCS, and other traffic capacity and analysis software as well as AutoCAD, MicroStation is a plus. Working knowledge of VISSIM, CORSIM, and OpenRoads Designer or other advanced software packages experience is plus.

Salary

The starting salary for the successful candidate in this position is competitive and will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications and experience, geographic location, internal equity, company policy and practices.

Stanley's Approach to Flexibility

While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9 / 80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
