Job Description

We are currently seeking multiple individuals for a Picker/Packer position. The work environment is welcoming and team-oriented. The role involves packing boxes according to a packing list and box size. You will work at a packing station, required to pack products into boxes, weigh the boxes, tape and label them, and put them onto a pallet for shipment. To ensure variety, you will be moved between packing, taping/labeling, and palletizing throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Pack products into boxes according to a packing list.
• Weigh, tape, and label boxes.
• Place packed boxes onto pallets for shipment.
• Rotate between packing, taping/labeling, and palletizing tasks.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work well with others.
• High School Education.
• Ideally 6 months of warehouse, picking, or packing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Safety conscious.
• Ability to follow written work instructions in English.
• Must be able to pass a safety test after watching a safety video.

Work Environment

You may need to wear steel-toed boots, eye protection, and hearing protection depending on the work environment and building. Eye protection and hearing protection will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $20.70/hr.
