Asplundh Engineering Services (MSSC)

The purpose of this position is to provide an entry level position with potential for growth within our engineering company. This position will be responsible for Inspecting utility poles as well as testing the safety and integrity of the pole. Must conduct a full inspection of each pole by taking pictures and completing forms based on the pole. We are looking for self-driven employees to complete as desired number of poles per day while upholding our professional and safety standards.

The Expeditor applies technical expertise to solve problems and apply their skills in a planning field position, with some supervision. Employees in this position are expected to develop deeper technical skills and the ability to work with an increasing degree of independence.

Requirements :

• Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and position, with some supervision guidance.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills,
• Sustains accurate records and files,
• Creates positive working relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally
• Must have reliable vehicle with valid insurance and drivers license
• Microsoft Skills
• Must pass a drug screening and background test
• CAD'ing skills a plus but not required. (AutoCAD, microstation)
